WELCOME!
Growing up on Chicago's South Side, my parents filled our home with love and laughter and the encouragement to dream. I believe that all things are possible with passion, dedication and a boundless imagination. I bring those qualities to everything that I do.
Much of my childhood was spent navigating the pages of one novel or another, immersing myself in the stories they held. It was my love of reading that inspired my desire to write and my infatuation with words. I chose to pursue journalism because I believe the stories of everyday people can be just compelling as the ones found in books if the right person is holding the pen. I craft pieces that are engaging, innovative and well-informed, regardless of the subject.
As a recent graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, I am seeking entry-level writing/editing positions. I hope this portfolio gives you a sense of who I am as a person and my capabilities as a young professional in the journalism industry. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
